AI assistant for your channel
Work through a content idea in an AI session before you turn it into a post. Use web search to explore a topic, and use reference images when you generate a picture. Follow-up turns, web search and reference images are paid features, all included in the seven-day trial.

Explore an idea in a session
Ask the assistant to develop an angle, revise a draft or explain a difficult topic. Keep the conversation focused on one task and add the context your channel audience needs.
Research with web search
Use web search to bring outside information into your work. Treat the response as research material: review the sources, check the important facts and decide what belongs in your post.
Guide image work with references
Provide reference images when you generate a picture for a post or an automation, to explain the visual direction you want. Review the generated result with the same care as the text, then use the material that fits your channel.
Build a draft through a conversation
Start an AI session with the topic you want to cover and explain who will read the result. Refine the response with follow-up instructions instead of starting again for each change. Use web search when the task needs information from the web, then check the sources and facts before publication. Reference images belong to image generation: add them when you generate a picture for a post, not inside a conversation. Review the text and images before you use them in channel content. These tools are available on paid plans and during the trial, which starts when you connect your first channel. AI use follows the AI budget of your plan; trial access does not mean unlimited generation.
Working in an AI session, step by step
- 1
Open a session in the post editor
Open the AI panel while you write a post, pick a model, describe the task and say who will read the result. The first request starts a session that Autogram stores, so you can come back to it from the AI sessions page.
- 2
Refine with follow-ups
Ask for a shorter version, a different tone or another angle, and the session keeps the conversation for you. Only one request runs at a time in a session, and an account can have three requests running across all sessions.
- 3
Turn on web search when you need it
Web search is chosen when a session starts and then stays the same for that session. Each answer that used search lists its sources with a title and a link. You can add the sources to the post as a plain-text block. Treat the answer as research, and open the sources yourself.
- 4
Accept the text into your post
When the text fits, accept it into the editor. It replaces or extends your draft, and you then save, schedule or publish the post as usual. Nothing is sent to your channel from the AI panel itself.
Images, budget and retention
Reference images for image generation
Reference images guide image generation in the post image dialog and in an automation’s image instructions. They do not start or continue an AI conversation. You upload JPEG, PNG or WEBP files of up to 10 MB each, and the image models take up to 16 or up to 10 references, depending on the model. The reference library holds 100 images on Solo, Starter and Pro and has no cap on Business. Check that you have the right to use each picture.
AI use follows your budget
Every request uses the monthly AI budget of your plan, and a search adds its own cost. The seven-day trial has a small AI budget of its own, so trial access does not mean unlimited generation. When the budget is spent and you have no purchased credit, the next request is refused until the month renews.
How long sessions are kept
Autogram deletes a session after 14 days without activity. Stored image data is removed after 48 hours, and the text of the turn stays until the session expires. Copy anything you want to keep into a post or your own notes before then.
