Content quality score
A content quality score is Autogram's AI rating of a post, from 0 to 100, based on readability, engagement potential, brand voice and length. It shows which drafts are weak before they publish, and it proposes rewrites you can apply. You can also set a minimum score on your account: a scored post that publishes below it is flagged with a notification, so you know when a post went out under your bar.
What the score actually measures
Autogram scores a post on four dimensions: readability, engagement potential, brand voice and length. Each dimension gets its own score from 0 to 100, and the average is the overall score. Because an AI model makes these judgements, they are not measurements: two drafts a point apart are effectively equal, and the number is useful for sorting drafts and spotting the weak dimension, not for ranking posts to the decimal.
The minimum score
The minimum score is an account-wide setting, from 0 to 100, with no minimum by default. A post that publishes below it still goes out on time, and Autogram sends you a notification afterwards that names the post and the score it missed. Scoring never delays or blocks a send. Raise the minimum when you want more flags on weak posts; lower it when the notifications stop telling you anything new.
Rewrites and re-scoring
A scoring pass proposes up to three rewritten versions, and each one is scored again from scratch. Applying a rewrite therefore gives you a verified score for the new text, not the old number repeated. Polish repeats the loop for you, up to three rounds, aiming for a target score of 80 by default and stopping early when nothing better turns up. Read the result before you publish: a higher score does not check facts.
Why scores drift
Scores are not stable across changes you make elsewhere. Rewrite the instructions, switch the model, or shift the topic and the same minimum suddenly flags a different share of posts. Treating a minimum as set-and-forget is the common mistake; check it whenever the generation side changes, otherwise a bar set months ago quietly stops matching the posts you publish now.
Scoring and your plan
You can score a draft while you write it on any plan. Scoring uses the AI model, so it counts against your AI usage. Saving a score to a post, applying a rewrite and using Polish need a paid plan.
