Resource group

A resource group is a user-defined label that spans channels, automation tasks, AI instructions, and schedules at once, so a whole campaign or theme can be found, filtered, and bulk-edited as one unit instead of four separate lists. It exists because a real campaign is rarely just a channel — it is a channel plus the tasks that post to it, the instruction that writes for it, and the schedule that times it. Autogram lets you group all four resource types under one name and manage the set together.

Why one group spans four resource types

A label on just the channel, or just the task, only ever tells half the story: naming a channel 'zodiac' says nothing about which of your automation tasks, instructions, and schedules also belong to that theme. Explicit membership across all four types means a filtered list, a bulk action, or a report about a named theme pulls in everything that actually belongs to it, not just the one piece that happened to carry the label.

Not a Telegram group

The name overlaps with 'Telegram group,' Telegram's own two-way chat type, but a resource group is unrelated — it is an Autogram-side organizational label, invisible to Telegram and to your subscribers. Creating one changes nothing about how a channel behaves on the Telegram side; it only changes how that channel's related resources are found and managed inside Autogram.

Groups start empty

A new group has no members at creation — you build it up afterward from the list pages, adding channels, tasks, instructions, or schedules to it as you decide they belong. Grouping is a retrofit you can apply to resources you already built, not a step you have to plan before creating them, and a group can hold members of only one, several, or all four resource types at once.
