Automation workflows
Automations write, schedule and publish posts for you. Set one up once, and it keeps running on its schedule.
- End-to-end automation
- Content recycling (sequential, random, top-viewed)
- Error handling
End-to-end automation
Create workflows that generate, review, and publish content automatically. Set it up once and let automation handle your entire content pipeline.
Content recycling
Build your content library by automatically recycling top-performing posts. Choose sequential, random, or top-viewed recycling modes to keep channels active.
Reliable error handling
Built-in error handling and retry logic ensures your automation keeps running even when things go wrong. Get notified of issues without losing content.
How automation workflows work
A workflow is a task attached to a channel with a schedule and a set of rules. On each run the task assembles content — generated by AI, pulled from a feed, or recycled from your existing library — applies the filters you configured, and publishes the result. Every run is recorded per channel, so you can see what fired, what succeeded and what failed. Failures are retried according to their cause rather than blindly: a temporary Telegram error is retried later, while a permanent rejection stops and surfaces the reason instead of quietly consuming the scheduled slot.
How an automation runs, step by step
- 1
Choose where the content comes from
An automation takes its content from one of three sources: text the AI writes from your instructions, items fetched from an RSS feed, the News Feed or another HTTP source, or posts recycled from your own library.
- 2
Attach channels and a schedule
Attach the automation to one or more channels. Each channel has its own schedule and its own posting mode: automated publishes straight to Telegram, and manual saves a draft for you to review first.
- 3
One run, many deliveries
When a schedule is due, Autogram gets the content once and then delivers it channel by channel. One AI call covers every channel, and a failure in one channel does not stop the others.
- 4
Every delivery is logged
Autogram records each delivery per channel as a success or a failure with its error message. When a run you start by hand has failed channels, Retry re-sends the content that was already generated, without generating it again.
Sources, recycling and failure handling
Feeds that publish on their own
An RSS automation remembers the last item it published, so it posts only newer entries. A News Feed automation can run on a schedule, or react to every new item that matches your filters.
Recycling your own posts
A recycling automation reposts from a pool of your own posts. Choose sequential order, which starts again at the end of the pool, random order, or top-viewed, which picks the post with the most views. A recycled copy keeps the original text and images.
A paused channel, not a pile of errors
When a delivery fails for a reason only you can fix, Autogram stops trying and tells you. Two failed deliveries in a row because the bot lost its administrator rights pause the channel, and a full monthly post limit pauses it at once. A plan-limit pause lifts by itself when the limit resets or you upgrade. A temporary error, such as a rate limit or a server error, never pauses a channel.
