Set it up

1Connect your community channels and add the Autogram bot as an administrator that can post messages.
2List the recurring content that members expect, such as a weekly thread, a daily tip and event reminders.
3Write one instruction for each kind of post, in the tone of that community.
4Create an automation or a schedule for each item, and set the timezone of your members.
5Start in manual mode for a week. Read the drafts and publish the good ones.
6Switch to automated mode for the items you trust, and check the dashboard and the notifications each week.

Details worth knowing

A paused channel, not a pile of errors

When a delivery fails for a reason only you can fix, Autogram stops trying and tells you. Two failed deliveries in a row because the bot lost its administrator rights pause the channel, and a full monthly post limit pauses it at once. A temporary error, such as a rate limit or a server error, never pauses a channel.

Many channels, separate settings

Nothing is shared between channels by default. Each channel has its own AI instructions, schedule and posting mode. One automation can generate a post once and deliver it to several channels, each on its own schedule, and a failure in one channel does not stop the others.

What Autogram does not do

Autogram publishes posts to your channels. It does not read your members’ messages or reply to them, and it does not promise subscribers or engagement. It reads the subscriber count once a day, and the growth chart shows what happened.

Frequently asked questions

Not with roles yet. Team access with roles and approvals is in development for the Business plan. Today one Autogram account owns the channels, and only an administrator of a channel can connect it.

Posts to that channel fail. After two failed deliveries in a row the channel is paused and shows the reason, and the other channels keep running.
