A Telegram bot is an automated account that acts through the Bot API rather than a human logging in. Autogram posts to your channels through such a bot: once you add the bot as a channel administrator, it sends the generated and scheduled content programmatically. The Bot API is the only supported way for software to publish on your behalf; Telegram offers no sanctioned path for a program to drive a personal account. You create the bot once through Telegram’s BotFather, receive a token, and add that bot to your channel as an administrator with permission to post messages. That single grant is what the entire automation depends on, and it is revocable from the channel’s administrator list at any moment without touching your own account.
A bot can send, edit, delete, pin and unpin messages in channels where it holds administrator rights, and it can read the view counts its own posts accumulate. It cannot see who your individual subscribers are, read channels it was never added to, or act beyond the specific rights you granted it.
